Dr. Eng. Imane Lamdjad is a Doctor of Architecture and Urban Planning, specializing in sustainable urban management and territorial development. With over 11 years of experience in academic research, higher education, and environmental engineering, she is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Zayed International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research.
Her expertise includes sustainable urban planning, multi-criteria assessment systems, environmental awareness, scientific research methodology, and the integration of smart technologies in cities. She has worked in Algeria and the United Arab Emirates, serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of M’sila and as a sustainability engineer at SEWA (Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority).
Dr. Lamdjad is also the author of the first book in the Arab region dedicated to Martian architecture and spatial urban planning, exploring future cities in outer space. This pioneering work was presented at the Sharjah International Book Fair 2024.
She is a regular speaker at major international events such as COP28, the Knowledge Summit, and the World Energy Congress. Her peer-reviewed publications, indexed in Scopus, focus on informal urban settlements, sustainability indicators, and the implementation of SDGs in urban policy.
