Dr. Firuza Rahmatulloevais Associate professor at the Institute of Astrophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. Her main research interests include conducting optical observations of active objects - Main belt asteroids, comets (short-period comets and comets at long heliocentric distances), determining their dynamic and physical characteristics based on observational data, establishing reliable mechanisms for the sudden appearance of cometary activity in asteroids, manifested in in the form of dust ejection and the formation of typical cometary tails, and the identification of their connection with other bodies of the solar system and them. She also participates in the international program for observing variable stars (Variable Stars Net) at the Sanglokh Observatory, Tajikistan and the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She is a member of the Scientific Working Group "ERASMUS+2019-1FRO-KA 107-061818" supported by Byurakan Astronomical Observatory, Republic of Armenia and of OVSQ Observatory an LATMOS Laboratory, France, UNOOSA, United Nations,IAU National Outreach Coordinators (team NOCs), National Astronomy Education Coordinator (team NEAC). She has worked in the Institute's as Scientific Secretary, Deputy Director and Acting Director of the Institute of Astrophysics, National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. Currently position she is Senior Research Fellow. Actively participates in international scientific conferences and symposiums.
